Erectile Dysfunction

Impotence or Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Defined
Impotence, or ED, is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection suitable for sexual intercourse. It means that a man has a problem achieving or maintaining an erection. It does not mean that he has a problem with fertility, ejaculation or orgasm.

In the United States, it is estimated that 10 to 30 million men suffer from ED. About one of every 10 adult males has an ongoing or “chronic” problem with ED. And, above the age of 60, about one in every three is no longer able to achieve an erection suitable for sexual intercourse.

Causes of Erectile Dysfunction
ED is most often a symptom of an underlying medical disorder, but may also be a result of anxiety or other psychological problems. Some of the common physical or medical conditions are: Diabetes – Hardening of the arteries – High blood pressure – Some prescription medications – Alcohol or drug use – Smoking – Multiple Sclerosis – Parkinson’s Disease – and many others.

A Popular Treatment for ED
Vacuum therapy has become one of the most popular solutions to the problem of ED. Physicians have prescribed hundreds of thousands of these systems for patients who prefer a safe and effective alternative to implant surgery or oral medications. The satisfaction rate among patients and their partners is very high. Vacuum therapy is also the most affordable of the major treatments for Erectile Dysfunction.

Candidates for Vacuum Therapy
A recent medical study shows men that are not totally satisfied with the use of prescription medication can improve satisfaction of their erection by 60% with use of Vacuum Therapy and medication. Using the Pos-T-Vac System can make prescription medication more effective.

If you are in one of the following categories then we recommend Pos-T-Vac.

– Tried prescription ED medication, but it didn’t work
– Advised by your doctor not to use pharmaceuticals
– Prefer a non-invasive treatment with no side effects
